“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”  Col. 2:6,7

I love this passage. It is a great reminder that we never get past Christ. That we never need more than Christ. That we only properly grow when we are Christ-gazing, Christ-desperate, Christ-adoring, and Christ-scented. I offer this prayer for all of us:

May the beauty of Christ be our central focus,

May the strength of Christ be our sole dependency,

May the word of Christ be our fondest meditation,

May the approval of Christ be our deepest contentment,

May the leading of Christ be our highest agenda,

May the glory of Christ be our unrivaled mission.
