"Kindling for the Fire" is humbly dedicated to the ongoing ministry of providing spiritual light for the mind, holy heat for the heart, and renewed strength for the hand; primarily through Christ-enamored meditations grounded in the word of God. We believe that true godliness is radically holistic; engaging the mind to think as deeply as possible, the heart to worship as passionately as possible, and the hand to serve as selflessly as possible. It is the kind of spirituality Jesus spoke of when He said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." Lk.10:27

Our central ministry comes in the form of a free, bi-weekly email devotional entitled “Kindling for the Fire”. The goal of these meditations is to provide fuel for the inner fire and resourcing for personal ministry. They are intentionally very short; typically 2 to 3 paragraphs, max. Though short; they aim to be highly stimulating, encouraging, and challenging. Each centers on a passage of scripture and almost always contains a significant quotation or quality illustration.
